MAREA MEDIA is an independent organisation working in journalism, media education and community storytelling.

We were born in Naples, motivated by the common desire to challenge the distorted narratives on Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. We are a community of professionals who investigate, narrate, photograph, create content and organise workshops adopting a people-centred and solutions-oriented approach.
